WHO WE ARE

U-Report is a platform for young New Zealanders to have a say on the things they care about. By joining, you’ll be adding your voice to a rōpū (group) of over 2 million U-Reporters all around the world. You'll be able to kōrero (speak) on a range of issues, both here in Aotearoa and globally. Anyone aged 13 or over can join.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child states that tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people) have the right to express their opinions have their opinions taken in to account. We know that in Aotearoa New Zealand, many young people feel like they're not listened to. U-Report New Zealand wants to change that.

We want to give you an opportunity to have your say on the issues you care about. Through polls, hui (events) and the power of the U-Report network, you'll have a chance to hold leaders to account and create social change. We want to build a network of thousands of young New Zealanders, and we'd love you to be a part of that.
